Public Swimming Pool & Spa Inspection Program

All public swimming pools and spas in Talbot County are required to be licensed in accordance with Maryland laws and regulations. Community pools, clubs, marinas, hotels/motels, and therapy swimming pools & spas are classified as public facilities. Plans for new public swimming pools and spas must be submitted to the Maryland State Health Department for review and approval prior to construction.

Routine inspections and complaint investigations are conducted by this office.
