Emergency Preparedness The Talbot County Health Department is prepared to safeguard the public health in all types of emergency situations, ranging from storms and hurricanes to industrial accidents or bioterrorist events. The health department will continue to monitor, investigate, report and manage outbreaks of communicable disease and to keep the public informed.
