Family Services
Program Purpose & Goal
The Family Services program is provided by Planned Parenthood of Maryland in the Easton office. Emergency contraception and pregnancy testing are available at Talbot County Health Department on a walk in basis.
In our School Based Health Centers students who are enrolled may access family services. School Based Health Center practitioners are provided by Choptank Community Health Services.
Our goal is to provide comprehensive family services to the residents of Talbot County. Program services are funded by federal and State grants and administered by Planned Parenthood of Maryland in Easton, Maryland.

All family services, including STI diagnosis and treatment.

Additional Information
Maternal Child Health Services
Maternal and Child Health Services are available to eligible pregnant or postpartum women or children under the age of two. Assistance, based on family’s needs, is available by phone, at the Health Department, or by home visit.
Eligible families can receive help locating community services, obtain information on health, safety, and child development, and receive assistance accessing medical care and services.

Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) treatment is also available at this location.
