The Talbot County Health Department’s Office of Environmental Health will host its annual fall rabies vaccination clinic on Saturday, September 14th, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at 215 Bay Street in Easton. Pet owners can have their dogs, cats, and ferrets vaccinated against rabies for just $6 per animal. Cash and checks will be accepted as forms of payment. Pets must be at least 12 weeks old and owners are asked to ensure that dogs are on leashes and cats and ferrets are in carriers while at the clinic.
Brennan Greene, Environmental Health Director for Talbot County, emphasized the importance of this clinic, stating, “Rabies vaccination is not just a legal requirement—it’s a critical step in protecting both our pets and our community. This clinic offers an affordable and convenient way for pet owners to ensure their animals are protected against this deadly disease. We encourage all eligible pet owners to take advantage of this opportunity.”
