On Friday, April 26, the Talbot County Health Department (TCHD) was honored with the District Partner of the Year award by Talbot County Public Schools (TCPS). The award recognizes TCHD’s ongoing collaboration and commitment to supporting the health and well-being of students, families, and school staff throughout the district.
The plaque was presented during TCPS’s annual Community Partner Appreciation event, which celebrates organizations and individuals who make a meaningful impact on student success. TCHD was recognized for its continued efforts to provide accessible health education, prevention services, and programmatic support across a range of initiatives, including behavioral health referrals, substance use prevention, public health education, and emergency preparedness.
